Maj. Gen. Glenn M. Walters, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing commanding general, awards a Meritorious Service Award to Gunnery Sgt. Steven M. Davis, a career retention specialist with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2, at the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and 2nd MAW headquarters building parade deck July 2, 2012. Roberts received the award during a monthly colors ceremony. The ceremony was the first for Walters as the wing's commanding general. During the ceremony, Walters awarded Marines for their performance and talked about the upcoming Independence Day holiday break.
