The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85), left, the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) helicopter destroyer JS Kurama (DDH 144) and the Republic of Korea Ship (ROKS) Munmu the Great (DDH 976) are in formation in the East China Sea.
