Multinational forces participate in Regional Cooperation exercise in Kyrgyzstan

Staff Sgt. Adam Auzchek observes how Kyrgyz Republic Master Sgt. Ina Belikovah treats a simulated casualty during a mass casualty scenario as part of Exercise Regional Cooperation 12, at the Koi Tash Military Academy, Kyrgyzstan, June 22, 2012. The U.S. and Kyrgyz Republic, along with partner nations Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, worked to strengthen their partnership through cooperation and mutual capabilities in the exercise. Regional Cooperation 12 is a multinational exercise designed to strengthen relationships and promote regional cooperation among the participating nations while offering coordinated, rapid response scenarios in the event of a disaster affecting multiple countries within the region. Auzchek is a 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron emergency management journeyman deployed out of Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., and is a native of Denver.
