Jeff Ruth, the commanding officer of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), land on the flight deck in an F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 154 after Harris completed his 1000th carrier landing aboard Nimitz in the Pacific Ocean, June 18, 2012, during Rim of the Pacific 2012.
