Genesis Santiago, an aeromedical evacuation technician from the 514th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., gives the 'ok' for fellow medical personnel to proceed transporting simulated patients from a combat support hospital to his C-130 Hercules aircraft for immediate medical evacuation during training exercises at Fort Hunter-Liggett, Calif., June 19, 2012 during Exercise GLOBAL MEDIC 2012. Exercise GLOBAL MEDIC 2012 is a yearly joint field training exercise for theater aeromedical evacuation systems and ground medical components designed to replicate all aspects of combat medical service support.
