    A Kenyan Basic Sea Survival instructor candidate tosses a make-shift floatation device to a fellow student during BSS training June 7. The BSS Train-the-Trainer Course is a program facilitated by U.S. Navy Maritime Civil Affairs Team 112, Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, to help people better prepare themselves for survival at sea. Part of CJTF-HOA's mission is to enhance partner nation capacity and contribute to security and stability in East Africa.
