As Staff Sgt. Aaron Goldin, ceremonial trumpeter, sounds off evening colors, Sgt. Joseph Tate salutes and Pfc. Nicolas Woodworth retrieves the colors that were lowered by Lance Cpl. Richard Rooks in front of the traveling Vietnam War memorial wall at Voinovich Park in Cleveland June 11 during Marine Week Cleveland. Tate, Woodworth and Rooks are with 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, headquartered at Brook Park. Morning and evening colors will be conducted for the duration of Marine Week, which concludes June 17. More than 750 Marines are participating in Marine Week to commemorate the city's support for the military and celebrate community, country and Corps. Various displays showcase Marine Corps equipment, aircraft and technology and are available for viewing at Gateway Plaza and Public Square.
