    USACAPOC(A) remembers D-Day

    D-Day veterans, Fred Morgan and Henry "Duke" Boswell, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, pose for a picture in front of the Iron Mike Statue with active duty soldiers on La Fiere battlefield, June 6. After sharing stories of their jump onto La Fiere, the thanked the soldiers for their service and the French populace for being welcoming to them, 68 years later.
    On June 6, Task Force 68 walked through the battle fields of La Fiere and learned about the heroic acts of the men who captured the bridge of La Fiere, ultimately allowing for the landings of the beaches of Normandy to succeed. Task Force 68, which is made up of paratroopers from U.S., Germany, France, Holland, and United Kingdom, is in Normandy, France to commemorate the 68th anniversary of D-Day.
