Capt. Brent Hoops, 2nd Platoon Leader with Battery B, 2nd Battalion, 12th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division from Fort Lewis, Wash., and a soldier from the 5th Iraqi Army Division search the home of an anti-coalition Shiite militia member during the early morning hours of Sept. 25 in Tha'Alba, Iraq. During Operation Viking Squeeze II, the Soldiers detained six anti-coalition Shiite militia members, including a commander, a kidnapping specialist and two death squad members. They also discovered several weapon caches and more than $15,000 in cash, believed to fund kidnapping and murders in northern Baghdad province.
