An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC 22) takes off from the amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21). New York is part of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group with embarked elements of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit and is deployed supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
