Lt. Col. Mikel R. Huber, commanding officer for Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 2, holds his son and daughter at the squadron's hanger April 30, aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Huber was saying goodbye to his son and daughter before departing the station for a deployment to Afghanistan. The squadron will deploy for up to one year to provide reconnaissance support for the ground units in Afghanistan. "We have been preparing for this deployment for about a year," said Huber. "We have been preparing both at work and at home."
