A military child gets her face painted during the second annual Headquarters and Support Battalion Kids Boot Camp event, hosted at the Paradise Point recreational area aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, April 26. The event also provided a focal point to celebrate Month of the Military Child and National Take Your Child to Work Day.

The Kids First Fair is in recognition of the National Child Abuse Prevention Month and Department of Defense's Month of the Military Child. Apicella is the deputy commander of Marine Corps Installations West, MCB Camp Pendleton. Robinson is the Children, Youth and Teen Programs administrator.
