The color guard, featuring members of U.S. forces, march down the Olympic Park path at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., for the 2012 Warrior Games opening ceremonies on April 30, 2012. The event, which featured guest speakers First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama and Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs Of Staff, marked the beginning of the games that will conclude on May 5th, 2012. The Warrior Games will feature 50 disabled, wounded and ill Army soldiers and veterans, competing against the Marines, Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force, and Special Operations Command for gold in seven sporting events and for the Chairman's Cup, the award presented to the top-performing service branch.
