The Mayor of Louisville, Ky., Greg Fischer presented Maj. Gen. Jon M. Davis, commanding general for 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, a proclamation designating April 21, 2012 as "United States Marine Corps 100th Anniversary in Aviation Day" for Louisville, April 21, in the command center for the Thunder Over Louisville Air Show. 2nd MAW played a big part in this year's Thunder Over Louisville Air Show, providing the T/AV-8B Harrier, from Marine Attack Training Squadron 203 from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, for Medal of Honor recipient to co-pilot a fly-over during the air show.
