Lance Cpl. Andrew Jones, landing support specialist, Combat Logistics Battalion 4, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), from Chanhassen, Minn., tightens a chain on a load of supplies headed to 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment. Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), airlifted the load of water, food, and ammunition to 1st Bn., 8th Marines, April 24, 2012. Their CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter came within 10 feet of the ground as the logistics Marines latched the pallet of supplies onto the helicopter's hook. The supplies flew underneath the helicopter to their destination.
