Members of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit enjoy a guided tour through the caves inside the Rock of Gibraltar while visiting Europa Point, Nature Reserve, and the local shopping area, April 23, 2012. Marines and Sailors of the 24th MEU and the Navy's Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group, aboard the USS Iwo Jima, conducted a scheduled port visit to Rota, Spain, April 19 to 24 where they were able to participate in various tours like this one throughout southern Spain. The 24th MEU, partnered with the Iwo Jima ARG, is deployed to serve as a theater reserve and crisis response force capable of a variety of missions from full-scale combat operations to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
