The “Gold Dog Tag” display, presented along side the Traveling Vietnam Wall, is a one of a kind tribute honoring the fallen to which there is no current memorial for them. The tribute is updated constantly and includes those who have fallen in hostile military actions between the end of Vietnam and the 9/11 attacks, as well as, the members of the armed forces who have given their life in the Global War on Terror.
These displays were on hand for the public during the annual American Hero’s Celebration hosted on Camp Mabry, April 22. (Photo by Sgt. Jeremy Spires, 36th Inf. Div. Public Affairs)
