Cpt. James Costigan, commander of E Company, 407th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, takes control of a jumpmaster's static line during airborne operations on Fort Bragg, N.C., April 14. Costigan is a native of Havre de Grace, Md. Paratroopers continually maintain proficiency in airborne operations ensuring they are able to deploy by parachute assault into access denied areas on short notice to conduct any assigned mission.
