Ritchie Jr., of the 118th Air Support Operations Squadron, North Carolina Air National Guard, is awarded the American Red Cross Certificate of Recognition for Extraordinary Personal Action by Tim Patton of the Carolina Piedmont Region of the American Red Cross for giving medical attention to a woman who was pinned between a vehicle and a building. The Certificate of Recognition for Extraordinary Personal Action is one of the highest awards given by the American Red Cross.
