The 14th Marines Regiment is leading the way during African Lion 2012. Col. Roger A. Garay, commanding officer for 14th Marines Regiment and task force commander for the exercise works in the JOC in Agadir, Morocco. The JOC is the main communication hub between supporting units and command personnel. African Lion is an annual, bilateral training exercise between U.S. and Moroccan forces.
