Today’s Navy chiefs wear many hats and operate across a broad spectrum of services, wearing different uniforms but still keeping with the one team, one fight purpose. From left is the Army combat uniform, the Marine Corps desert uniform and the new Navy Working Uniform Type II, a desert digital camouflage uniform composed of four colors with the anchor, Constitution and eagle logo embedded in the print, worn by special warfare operators and sailors supporting them during deployment and deployment training exercises. Chiefs wearing each of these uniforms attended the Navy chiefs’ birthday celebration, April 1, aboard Camp Krutke, a Seabee camp located on Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 11 currently operates out of Camp Krutke and hosted the celebration.
