Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta is greeted by Lt. Gen. Thomas D. Waldhauser, the I Marine Expeditionary Force commanding general, as he exits an aircraft during a visit to Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 30. Secretary Panetta will board the USS Peleliu, which is operating off of the coast of California. He will make remarks at an all hands call with Marines and sailors from the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, observe flight operations and have lunch with junior enlisted sailors and Marines while aboard.
