Soldiers from the Mortar Section of Troop A, 2nd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division from Fort Lewis, Wash., fire 120mm mortars, the largest mortar in the Army's arsenal, from a Stryker vehicle at Joint Combat Outpost Key West, Iraq, Aug. 28. Mortars can be fired while mounted to a Stryker for more mobility and to provide the crew safety from small arms fire.
