Senior Airman Christopher Bovill, 100th Maintenance Squadron Non-Destructive Inspection journeyman, shines a black light onto a KC-135 Stratotanker jack-mount during a fluorescent liquid penetrant inspection July 28, 2011. The black light is used to determine where the cracks in the landing gear are by making the florescent dye penetrant that resides in the cracks glow.
