II Marine Expeditionary Force   

Marines from 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion prepare to board one of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 366's CH-53D Sea Stallions at the Air Force Dare County Bombing Range, March 8, after participating in Exercise Sandman. During Exercise Sandman the Marines practiced marksmanship with the M-4 A1 Carbine and M-16 A2 service rifle, set up field radio communication and fired Stinger Missiles at low flying F-15E Strike Fighter's from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C.
