Traditionally, the Seabee ball recognizes the youngest and eldest Seabees in attendance with a cake cutting ceremony, drawing the past and present together. Navy Cmdr. Marc R. Delao, commanding officer, Officer in Charge of Construction, Marine Corps Instillation East, presented the youngest and eldest Seabees with a plaque to commemorate the event and to recognize them for their role in the evening’s ceremony.
