Sgt. 1st Class Fergus Joseph of Bravo Troop, 5th Battalion, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, accepts a gift of chai and flat bread from the grateful neighbors of his combat outpost in Qubah, Iraq, on Sunday, Aug. 19. Bravo Troop recently cleared the village and surrounding palm groves of insurgents and weapons caches during Operation Lightning Hammer in the Diyala River Valley.
