Musician 2nd Class Tony Smouse, a member of the U.S. 7th Fleet Band, and a native of Farmington, N.M., helps conduct the Sollars Elementary School Orchestra here during a recent visit to the school. Smouse and other members of the 7th Fleet Band are in Misawa for a retirement ceremony, but also took the opportunity to mentor young musicians, and performed a free concert for Misawa-area residents.
