Chief Warrant Officer Charles Carlos Cantu, an aviator with 3rd Battalion 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, who has spent more than 30 years in Army aviation, sits in the cockpit of a helicopter during the early stages of his aviation career. Cantu who took his last flight on a CH-47 Aug. 5 at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, retired from the U.S. Army after 32 years of service.
