A Task Force Saber, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade OH-58D Kiowa Warrior patrols the skies near Jalalabad, Afghanistan, March 2. The Kiowa is the Army's scout and reconnaissance aircraft, often called upon to provide close security for ground troops. The Kiowa is capable of carrying a two-man crew and a variety of weapons, such as 2.75 inch rockets, hellfire missiles (pictured) or a .50-caliber machine gun.
