Alaska National Guard Pvt. Christopher Sternhagen, Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team, participates in a base defense live fire exercise Jan. 15, 2012, on Camp Atterbury, Ind. Kandahar PRT is a joint team of U.S. Air Force, Army and Navy service members that will deploy to the Kandahar province in Afghanistan to assist in the effort to rebuild and stabilize the local government and infrastructure.
