U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Malcolm Mercado, 40th Airlift Squadron load master, is hooked up to the oxygen system prior to opening the ramp door on a C-130J Hercules, flying more than 10,000 feet, during a training mission, Feb. 23, 2012, Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. Dropping a Joint Precision Air Drop System at high altitudes is possible because of the built-in Global Positioning System which will guide the cargo accurately to the drop zone.
