Col. James Clavenna reads the Civil Air Patrol Leadership Manual to son Jack Clavenna Feb.13 at the Coastal Charleston Composite Squadron, Joint Base Charleston - Air Base. Clavenna takes his son to weekly CAP meetings. The Civil Air Patrol has one of the largest fleets of single-engine aircraft in the world, with more than 550 aircraft nation-wide. Clavenna is the commander of the 437th Maintenance Group. Jack has been in CAP for nearly a year.
