Sgt. Stuart M. Skogmo, a forward observer attached to Company C, 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 2, uses binoculars to view a target site before combined arms training. The training, which included M-16s, squad automatic weapons, 240-G medium machine guns and light armored vehicles, was part of the first week of Operation Mawtini at Combat Outpost Rawah, Iraq.
