Australia’s Chief Warrant Officer 1 Dennis Ramsey lays way back as he puts a serve down the middle for an ace to lead the Veteran’s to a 2-0 victory in the preliminary sitting volleyball matches Feb. 17. Ramsy is competing in his second Marine Corps Trials at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. The Trials will continue through Feb. 21. The Trials, which is hosted by the USMC Wounded Warrior Regiment, will include individual and team competition in sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, swimming, cycling, shooting, archery, and track and field. Four teams, East, West, Veteran and International, will go head to head for team gold. The international team has military athletes from seven nations, including the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Australia, Germany, Columbia and the Netherlands.
