Lance Cpl. Clancy Dyer with Lima Battery, Second Battalion, Tenth Marines (L 2/10) provides security for his squad on May 20. L 2/10 conducted Operation Newark to gather census information on each house in an area near Zaidon, Iraq. L 2/10 is deployed with Multi National Force-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
