Maj. Gen. Peter J. Talleri, commanding general of Marine Corps Installations Pacific and Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, receives information about the Father Ray Children's Village from Derek Franklin, the public relations international fundraising director for the Father Ray Foundation, during a community relations event at the Father Ray Children's Village Feb. 8. Service members from Marine Aircraft Group 36 volunteered to spend their time landscaping the property, painting playground equipment and interacting with the children. The chaplains and units participating in Exercise Cobra Gold 2012 have scheduled 19 community relations activities which will run various days throughout the exercise.
