U.S. Marine Sgt. William Robert Biggs, the Regimental Combat Team 5 personal security detachment platoon sergeant, executes an arm bar during a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program instructor trainer course here, Jan. 26. Recently, Biggs was awarded the title of Headquarters Co., RCT-5, non-commissioned officer of the quarter. In between regular combat missions, Biggs, a native of Frankfort, Ky., balances his time between his duties as a platoon sergeant, working toward an associate degree and earning his MCMAP instructor's tab, which he will used to improve his PSD Marines.
