Tucson, Ariz. native Sgt. Luis Alfonso Leon is a mobile modular command and control mine resistant ambush protected vehicle, or M2C2, driver and radio operator with Regimental Combat Team 5. Leon, 24, is part of the team operating the M2C2, one of the uniquely modified MRAPs designed to provide mobile command and control capabilities to battlefield commanders. Leon, 24, and his team provide these capabilities to the RCT-5 commander, Col. Roger B. Turner, and his staff during battlefield tours and mobile missions, and to subordinate battalions in the RCT-5 battlespace.
