NMCB-5 Seabees and I MEF Marines Conduct Military Base Construction During Pacific Blitz 2019

190307-N-RU084-1004 OXNARD, CALIF. (Mar. 07, 2019) – Chief Equipment Operator Gregory Moseley, from Placerville, California assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5 (NMCB-5) operates a 120M grader to level out the soil during a road construction project on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. The new road will connect the I Marine Expeditionary Force and NMCB-5 camps giving them the ability to conduct military base construction and maintenance in a joint environment in support of Pacific Blitz 2019 (PB19). Working hand-in-hand, the Navy expeditionary force and Marine Logistics Group capabilities complement each other in the building of advanced naval bases. PB19 provides realistic, relevant training necessary for an effective global U.S Navy and Marine Corps. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Aaron Bewkes)
