Alaska Army National Guard Pfc. Jan Larsh, Bravo Company, 1st Battalion-143rd Infantry Airborne Regiment, gives a class on the basic fundamentals of the M4 assault rifle and M9 pistol to the members of the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team Nov. 30, 2011, at Camp Atterbury, Ind. Kandahar PRT is a joint team of U.S. Air Force, Army and Navy service members that will deploy to Afghanistan to assist in the effort to rebuild and stabilize the local government and infrastructure.
