Staff Sgt. Widmayer Boucard, with Recruiting Station Fort Lauderdale congratulates the recipients of the 5000 Role Models of Excellence scholarship, Jan. 16, 2012, in Miami, Fla. The scholarships are awarded to “at risk” young men in the African American community and provide the support necessary for success. The Marine Corps and 5000 Role Models share a common goal – to guide those in search of success.
