Maj. Gen. Peter J. Talleri is escorted to the airport terminal here by Dr. Robert D. Eldridge during a visit to mainland Japan, Jan. 12. Talleri and Eldridge are part of a group of senior leaders from III Marine Expeditionary Force and Marine Corps Installations Pacific who visited Sendai and Oshima Island to review community recovery progress since Operation Tomodachi. Talleri is the commanding general of MCIPAC and Eldridge is the deputy assistant chief of staff, G-7.
