Members of Amphibious Assault Vehicle Company move through the jungle surrounding their objective near Camp Hansen’s Combat Town Jan. 9. The jungle is an important part of the Marines’ training. Normally, the company trains at Camp Pendleton, Calif., where there is no opportunity for jungle training. AAV Company is currently attached to Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
