A son of one Soldier has his 'Daddy Doll' in tow; dolls like this bear the full-body photographic likeness of the Soldier parent that is deployed and is meant to comfort the child who may be missing the parent. Over 100 Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery, Headquarters and Headquarters Battery returned to New Ulm, Minn., on July 23. The Minnesota National Guard's 1st Brigade Combat Team has been deployed 22 months, 16 months of which were in a combat zone. The 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 34th Infantry Division has been deployed in a combat zone longer than any other military unit in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
