Jaydon Mickens, No. 4, celebrates his touchdown reception with his fellow teammates of the West squad. Mickens, native of Los Angeles, was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the game and plans to attend the University of Southern California. One hundred of the most qualified high school seniors from throughout the country joined at Chase Field, Phoenix, Ariz., to battle in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl game Jan. 3. The West fought their way to a 17-14 victory over the East. The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl is the culmination of a yearlong partnership between Marine Corps Recruiting Command and Junior Rank, an organization dedicated to developing the next generation of student-athletes.
