U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Patrick Gallaher, a special operations independent duty corpsman, loads a bucket with sand for U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Daniel Rosas, a life support investigator, to lift out of the two meter deep unit and to be later sifted through in search of material evidence, human remains and life support. Gallaher and Rosas are both augmentees with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command. The mission of JPAC is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans missing as a result of our nations past conflicts.
