“Octa-Shop,” comprised of members of the III Marine Expeditionary Force Band, performs during the III MEF Band holiday Concert themed “Spirit of The Season” at the Camp Foster Theater Dec. 9. The concert incorporated traditional holiday songs changed up in unique ways as well as two songs from the movie ‘Polar Express’. “The holiday concert is great because it is more children and family oriented,” said Staff Sgt. Franklin Smith, a trombone player with the band. “Families have the opportunity to get together and celebrate the Christmas spirit in a fun environment.”
