Two Caymans, mine resistant ambush protected military armored vehicles, sit on trailers attached to heavy equipment transportation trucks in a motor pool on Contingency Operating Base Adder, Nov. 30. Caymans have been an important part of the U.S. forces strategy to protect troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan from improvised explosive devices.
