Lt. Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, Third Army/ARCENT commanding general and Alexandria, Va., native, conducted his first visit with Gen-Lt. Ramil Nadirov, Chief of General Staff, since taking command. He met with key leaders Nov. 20-21. The discussions reflected numerous shared interests, especially in confronting terrorists and narcotics smugglers in Tajikistan. With visits like these, the Third Army is strengthening ties by educating, inspiring, and building relationships with our partner nations through joint operation. Key leader engagements are critical for encouraging partner nations to commit and contribute to regional stability.
